The Holy Mackerel brand is fun, whimsical and the client requested that a mackerel fish be included in the logo as the shop is located in the historic fishing village of Peggy’s Cove, Nova Scotia. The shop sells local and national artisan products from housewares to fine art and jewellery.

I wanted the brand to have an illustrated feel and have a welcoming feeling with a bright orange and colours of the ocean. I paired it with some fun hand drawn fonts to finish the look.
